At STREAMD, we’ve pioneered a clinically-validated patient engagement solution that’s captured the hearts of patients and the minds of surgeons. Our SMS-based chatbots coach patients before and after surgery by delivering informative and empathetic content that has been clinically shown to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes. STREAMD's effectiveness lies in its ease of use for patients and physicians and its ability to engage patients, reduce clinical workload, and mitigate physician burnout.

STREAMD was designed by orthopaedic surgeons who know what it takes for a product to succeed in the clinical setting. We intentionally set out to design a turnkey solution that would garner high physician buy-in and wouldn’t burden the clinical staff. There are no integrations or training required. By using a physician’s existing surgery instructions and our library of clinically-validated content, we can create a custom chatbot tailored to your treatment preferences and care culture within a few days.

STREAMD is entirely automated, so providers aren’t spending any of their time monitoring inbound patient messages or having to hire someone to manage the software. STREAMD is meant to feel “invisible” in the clinical workflow, yet profound in its impact.

Because of this, STREAMD has been classified as fulfilling the “Quadruple Aim” in healthcare: enhancing the patient experience, improving outcomes, reducing costs, and improving the quality of life of healthcare providers by preventing burnout.

Through a partnership with you, our objective is to:

  1. Improve patient outcomes

  2. Increase patient satisfaction

  3. Reduce readmissions and avoidable ER visits

  4. Reduce patient calls to your office

  5. Reduce narcotic use

  6. Increase the value in the care you provide

  7. Differentiate your practice

  8. Enhance your online reputation

To achieve this, we've developed a unique solution that functions autonomously and does not interfere with clinic workflows.
