Intelligent chatbots - your "preference card" for patients

In the operating room, every surgeon has specific preferences in regards to workflows, instruments, and implants. To account for these preferences, the surgical staff create “preference cards” (i.e. physical or digital notecards) for each surgeon.

For perioperative care, the same holds true. Each surgeon has specific preferences. For example, some surgeons prescribe Aspirin while others prefer Eliquis for blood clot prevention. Some surgeons instruct full weight-bearing (e.g. as tolerated) after joint replacement, while others prefer partial (e.g. limited). Some surgeons prescribe movement restrictions after hip replacement, while others do not. Effective clinical teams know a surgeon's preferences like the back of their hand.

Clearly, when it comes to surgery and recovery, one size does not fit all. Successful patient education and engagement applications need to be able to account for these differences.

Our clinical chatbots are trained to automatically respond to more than 300 different topics of discussion as patients prepare and recover from surgery. For our physician customers, their chatbot's responses are customized to match their existing treatment preferences. This synergy allows STREAMD to quickly integrate into clinical workflows. Our customization process essentially creates a digital, patient-facing ‘preference card,’ giving patients access to their physicians’ prescribed treatment preferences 24/7/365.
